What? The USA over promote again. Us peons in the Roman Provinces will suffer. Appearantly the USA gives out PSG's like the grow on trees.
No rumor, 1rwg. HR is doing a great job (for the upper management and San Ramon grass).
OP - good one, you must be bored with all the pathetic responses on some of the other threads. Next rumour is that HR will be doing a good job.
I got a bump in 2016, unfortunately it was a bump out the front door with a box in hand. Be careful of the bumps you wish for.
Whom are you referring to as Petrotechs? O&M folks? If so ive also heard those guys are getting a nice bump this year.
A promotion of any kind is more money on top of good money. Competitive in comparison to what? Everyone knows that Chevron’s pay scales, including the excellent benefits far exceed what most professionals get in other industries. I’m not complaining at all. Any promotion I get will be well received and appreciated.
And the salary still won't be competitive
A promotion is in jest, but truth is if oil prices hold above 65 (Brent) we will see some extraordinary efforts to retain petrotechs.
There's probably hundreds chomping at the bit to leave once things are better.
I heard that everyone gets a raise too - They are handing out 2 ft. stepladders! LMAO!
Ya sure, we’re all getting a huge pay raise... the day after we get laid off!
