I really anticipate fiolettsk.rus to start happening once they realize their plan for an explosive 1st quarter has all but backfired. There is low to no availability on the most common of parts. The gas3 thing is a joke. The company is a joke. Sell more, more, more. More of what? Freaking brake cleaner? Washer fluid? Anyone that works in an actual store knows how bad part availability is. Pathetic. And what friggin' good will "sister" stores be if they all stock the same damn parts? Useless. No wonder we are getting stomped by our competition. It's like taking candy from a baby. 75% of things that take longer than a day to get, the competition has on the shelf or can get overnight. Don't let the door smack your a-- on the way out, Advance Auto Parts.

WPC model = Zero CAMS.
Damn right the employees are disgruntled. We don't have the tools or inventory to do our jobs. Instead, we do the best we can with what we've got and we still get the job done as best we can. Hell, if gas3 is so freaking great, why not gas10 or gas20? Don't be such a puss. Maybe the spreadsheet gods will bless us with some automotive knowledge.
I get so freakin tired of being told I have everything I need to sell sell sell and I just need to work harder. Like I haven't been working hard for years. I don't have the $$$ to sit around and play with like the soft drink and hedge fund suits.
Seriously ? This company does not pay enough to attract quality people, so this means garbage in, garbage out.
Don’t listen to people on this website. They’re full of sh*t. CAMs and CSMs aren’t going anywhere. Just disgruntled employees who probably got canned for low performance.
In my market we are and have been required to do 50 every week so that is normal for us. I thought Worldpac had outside sales reps like CAM's already, do they not?
Agreed. Field sales positions are history. Amazing how many appear to be clueless and continue plugging along instead of lookin out for their future. How many will have to explain this to their family when they get cut. The smart ones are gone or looking.
So the cam’s are now being told to make nine calls per day and if they don’t make 45 total for the week then they call in on Monday morning for their punishment call with the Boss.
Unfortunately this doesn’t translate into quality selling just passing out fliers and numbers to put in a spread sheet to check the box. The sales leadership have no idea how to actually build quality long lasting relationships with high volume commercial accounts. This will lead to eventually abandoning the cam and CSM positions and moving to the W.P. model because that’s the only choice at this point.
