Why punish your best producers?

The new pay plan punishes the top producers. My bonus will be half of what it was last year. The non-producers who never saw a bonus will benefit from the new compensation plan. You only have to hit 75% of GM target to make some money. Top producers were doing well above that and now the payout is much lower because the standard is lower. Way to motivate the good CAMS. What’s the point of killing yourself to hit target now?

Exactly what said. This has been raising my blood pressure since it was announced. A big screw you to those of us who've consistently been their top producers. This is the best way to make sure we leave in droves.

All the store teams support a lavish lifestyle for corporate management and will continue to do so! Very few of those guys produce anything but more paperwork and meetings so the money has to come from somewhere!

Since Starboard got on board with Advance it has been a downward spiral of cuts all for the sake of shareholder value. Hedge funds like Starboard are only about the money and this is the driving force behind the companies demise. Anyone working in the stores will continue to be over worked and underpaid.

We the peons unite and except only those at top of the food chain at advance receive any kind of compensation, recognition. The rest of us get our hours cut, assigned extra tasks, and told to work harder and to prepare for more cuts to hours in 2018. Most company's have announced with the just signed tax reform that they are spreading the wealth for there hard working under paid employees. Advance is spreading the wealth but only to those highest in the food chain, district managers getting huge wonderful bonises n compensation for screwing the peons who continue to be over worked and under paid. Most company's also announced that they shall be giving there employees nice pay raises up to 15.00 hr . Not so at advance, Maryland just raised our minimum wage, new employees hired after it went into effect are making an average of, 75 to 1.25hr more then those who been working there for years. New hired cashier's with no experience are brought in over 10.00 hr there key supervisors they work under are being paid most cases less then 9.75 per hr. When concerned supervisors complain or request more or at least the same rate as new green inexperienced employees get not just n proper compensation but there own hours cut to minimum. It's no wonder advance continues to loose good hard working employees, and tend up losing tons of money from there crew stealing cash and products. If you are considering starting a new carrier at advance do your own search here and the rest of the net. Advance is bleeding cash, there shares have hit an all time loss, within past year they have lost 100.00 a share n continue to slide daily, they just took on a new make cash quick investor with a track record of putting nails in coffins b7uying up shares n dumping them first chance he gets. Advance going through huge restructuring continues to bleed cash . The share holders and upper management looking for only one thing taking there profits n bonuses n moving on. Don't get caught up in all the hype of wonderful restructuring, great future advancement. Look instead at something else word on the street is advance is on it's way out

Look at our upper management from the DM'S up none of them are top producers just a bunch of NON-PRODUCERS! But I bet they got their Christmas bonus the way they cut everyone's hours the last three months.
