forced resignations - image of employee in job market also equally important as company''s

IT companies must understand that in the face of forced resignations - image of employee in job market also equally important and valuable as company's image.

To avoid admitting failure in management layers companies are resorting to forced resignation at lower levels branding hard working and smart and competent (but not well networked an well connected) employees as non performers when the appraisals system itself is non transparent and arbitrary. professional'are force rotated every years in such way that they don't acquire deep skill in any specific technology or domain(vertical) to avoid business rick.

The job market has been rigged by nasscom affiliates is such as way that professionals who lost jobs are always looked down upon and insulted, rejected and exploited thro third party rolls even when they re skill themselves.

List of fired employees leaked thro HR = placement network to scuttle careers of fired employees so that they don't get jobs with competitors.

There is informal understanding among top 10 IT firms in Indian not to hire fired employees so that the government doesn't get suspicious.

This is not USA,

This is India. - it is hell for genuine professionals

there are dozens and dozens of irrelevant rules (non skill related) and check lists

u are not eligible if you have gaps, - clean from collage campus to IT form campus (all others treated as outcasts even if they have great skill

u must be in less than 30 years age.(not mature enough to know that value of ur contribution)

should be tamilian if your are applying for chennai based jobs,

should be marathi if applying for position in pune/mumbai,(only brahmin in case of management position in pune)

malayali if applying for bangalore,

most important u should be currently working (not serving notice period) even if the position u are applying is temporary contractual or third party rolls.

After all this u should not be over competent- u may be threat to existing managers or region based and caste based group running the specific domain/vertical/client accounts that run the show

After all this why u are not working, if u say layoff u are dropped like hot potato.

if you say i resigned; why u resigned without a job in hand (again dropped like hot potato).

Give me references of your supervisors - the risk is they will tell your prospective employee u were fired to justify their decision to force your exit) again your job offer goes into hold

This india be careful before u label person non performer and keep log of forced resignation and tell the same in background checks.

After all there is no such change in technology(RPA machine learning is humbug) that old people who surviced the sector for last 20 years cannot cope with if allowed to.

IT firrms are just chasing higher profits by exploiting SEZ norms, Actual government rule New SEZ new fresher employee and new business. In reality it is - New SEZ, New employee, Old business (redrafted on new purchase order on SEZ address), shut down old premises and fire old employees(of course in the name of automation, RPA etc to fool indian society - publish paid new in mumbai media)

NASScom is a con syndicate promoting exploitative employment.

Time for professional bodies of software professionals to black list companies with dubious practices and give advisory.

agree, it is a management failure. but the employees have not done any favor to themselves. they should have moved out of these organizations long back. in the late 90s or early 2000s it was ok when mass hiring was yet not a phenomenon. the business model changed for the worse when mass hiring and deliberate dilution of hiring standards was made normal. if you are reduced to the least common denominator, guess what? thats how you get treated.

True - It high time th India based IT outsourcers admit management failure, they seem to have succumbed to temptation to ramp up revenue by reducing rates to a an such an unviable level, that even salve labour can sustain their profit motive.

the foolish strategies of these IT services firms has undermined the market value of sophisticated programming jobs.
