Corrupt management

You know management is corrupt and favoritism plays a big part more than ability and knowledge when you have technicians failing breathalyzer test at the heliport and not being able to go out on the job. And then benign banned from going out for that company for a whole year and they still have a job.

What do you expect? It's a culture of good ol boy network. Take the Ops Mgr. at STAR He was at a company function hosted by the VP, and got a felony DWI when he was not supposed to leave the site. They both should have been fired. Especially the VP for such poor excuse for judgement.

But no. The VP was protected. So the VP had to protect the Ops Mgr. and the Ops Mgr has to protect the Shop foreman who plays favorites. A culture of bad choices, bad management and no ethics. And now the group is reaping what they sow.

Sounds to me that you are bitter because a person that failed a breathalyzer test is way more valuable to the company then you are and that's why that person still has and job and probably receiving more work then you. Sounds like you have to step up your game and stop being a little b--ch about the situation. Why not say something to that person if you have a problem and stop being a coward and hiding behind a keyboard.

I couldn't agree more. Tell me there is no favoritism when techs are releated to the shop foreman and the ops manager has been groomer for the job. The shop foreman and ops manager do nothing but belittle evryone in the shop, treating all ghe techs like crap. By law, the ops job was suppose to be posted internally and externally so everyone has a chance, but thay didnt happen. And then let go of our only safety person that knew what they were doing and now we are stick with a heart attack waiting to happen, usless safety guy. Its all down hill from here.
