Thread regarding Wipro Ltd. layoffs

There is no Leave and Holiday and 5 day week policy in Wipro (policies are only on papers and offer letter)

Wipro leave policy is only for the employees who sits in Wipro own offices. But the condition is worst for the employees at client locations. There is no shecduled holiday, comp. off and leave policy for us.

In the offer letter and at joining time HR assured for 5 day week but after deploying Wipro denied for 5 day week and says that it is policy to follow client specification for 6 day week only for Wipro employees.

OK 6 day a week but they pay only for 5 day a is a kind of humilation.

Many emails we recieve that there is a long weekend.......Paln ur holidays................but reality is we did not get any off, leave and Wipro Holidays at client site even not client calender holidays...the answer from the management is only that this the policy. These type of long weekends are only for the employees at Wipro offices not on client site.

Please tell me is it the way to treat a human with no off leave OR Wipro calender holiday. Even we officialy on duty on festivals, Wipro never reward us with any type of appreciation like bonus OR compoff.

Please please ...Wipro Management......look into the issues for client site employees regarding Calender holidays. We are spoling our social life for Wipro. and HR's please stop the fraud of 5 day week.

Many more to say but the words are not enough. There is no WORK LIFE and SOCIAL LIFE balance in WIPRO.

employees working in Teams are made scapegoats when the work pile up ...the idiotic persons sitting in firm positions as senior managers, ask others to come & work on saturdays even when there is no client sitting on another end.i wonder how this people make it to the position they sit on & act as fools who doesn't how to address issues of employees as well as clients .
