Could be worse you could be Cathi Orazi's pal that she back stabbed for a raise! Shame since she talks trash on the other PDs that she acts friendly to theirs faces. She promised in meetings rifs for adjuncts only but lied to SC's, PD's, and PL's. Wow! that 10-15% reduction in classes is looking like 30%- good thing she is a lawyer and not a CPA.

It was not a surprise. The surprise is keeping the crap, while letting some good employees go that actually worked and were ethical. However, this company seems to like lazy and unethical.
These people continue to live in a fantasy world. I can't believe how this latest RIF surprised so many people. How could anyone, especially after April's RIF even think their job was safe? The funny thing is, the next big RIF will catch people off guard again. If they read all the comments written here after the last RIF they would have seen that the people driving this train have no compassion for the passengers. The employees are just like the students they attract, it's always someone else's fault. The discontent they have for their fellow workers is exactly why this company will never survive. I witnessed it for 13 years, the finger pointing, the rudeness, the constant throwing someone under the bus, the refusal to work together, the ones who try to make themselves look good by trying to make someone else look bad. To the people that are left, prepare yourself for the next "BIG ONE" because it will most likely include you. Start looking for a new job NOW, leave on your terms not theirs. What have you seen in the last six months that would convince you enrollment will increase? The reality is the student population has decreased with every new start for the last year or two. Ask yourself this question, would I enroll myself or my child in any of Zenith's schools? I compare it to buying a passenger ticket for the Titanic after it hit the iceberg. Or you can continue to live in your fantasy world and be SURPRIZED again.
