I'm really loving the people dropping names (real classy!) You guys really do reinforce the reason I believe this facility is the most toxic workplace anyone could ever dream to work for. This facility just screams unprofessional behavior and most of you deserve what's coming for you anyways. (and trust me, it's coming very soon).
I also love all the "Vote for Trump" comments. This really shows how moronic people are at this facility. Trump is a sleazy, billionaire scum bag that only spews out bullshit, sounds a lot like Pampa management.

True. An employee can only be as good as a supervisor allows. It's a shame that some supervisors are just that crappy. However, I think this page is great so the truth about some actually get out. Too many cover ups out there.

I totally agree what NOV could be better said. Hopefully fiolettsk.rus will not effect your good Supervisors but anything is possible. I have heard Brown has the MS headed in the right direction. Same goes for Schaffer. Very knowledgeable of fabrication. I think with these 2 you will be headed in the right direction but there are definitely changes that need to be made in other areas as well. Too much backstabbing out there by people who are not qualified to be in the position they are in. Layoffs are going to be tough but you will get through it. When 1 door closes another will open up.

Vote Trump 2016. Time to pop your bubble, There is no way that GE or any other fortune 500 company will buy out an 34 billion dollar company like NOV. Once due diligence is started it will revel all kinds of inventory, financial, and ethical problems that will derail a acquisition. NOV grew very quickly and there has never been top down leadership that is due a company of this size. I think everyone can see that. Think of this entire company running just like our facility is ran….sad but true. This business, If sold will be bought for pennies on the dollar in the courts
Yes some management changes have been made. Brown back in the machine shop, Great thing well done, Schaffer back in fab, again well done, Vince, Jim, and john in assm Time will tell. But I’m worried
Sheaves are a prime example of the problems we have here in Pampa, one where no single person is in charge, its dependant on several different departments to do their jobs on tome ( every time ) and everyone getting along…….I agree it has worked out so well!
We in Pampa build world class products, we have shipped these products worldwide! There is no reason that we cannot take advantage of this downturn and acquire products from other closing plants…someone has to build this stuff!
However, in order to do this we have to become a world class facility. We have to get along. We have to work together as a Team. Does some of our managers need to go? Yes I think so. This page in itself says that some heads have to roll, it goes back to credibility. But let’s all come together and make this work.

I think all company's have problems with management to production and we all know our production problem is as big as any. We have never meet a sheave monthly quota in 5 years of being the sheave manufacturer. But I will say no matter what other feel about our management we have the best management we have had in years. Are supervisors have recently been place were they have needed to be for several years. I feel we are headed for a buyout and if your around for it then consider yourself lucky because the worse is yet to come!!! PS: we did pass our API adit that's says a lot for Pampa !!!!
That entire gas line being hit was a cover up. It was ridiculous. Many have said Mark and Bob need to go. Anyone else who would have hit a gas line would have been walked out. You don't just keep someone who screws up all the time if they weren't getting something out of it. Most of everyone knows something is going on between them two. Mark has to have something on Jamie. With all the "lies" Mark says about Jamie and he's still there...

Bob Russell needs to go. Too many smoke breaks and sits on his butt on the golf cart and does absolutely nothing. I don't even work in that department and he drives me nuts. Then you have Mark Montgomery. How in the heck has the moron not been let go yet? Let's hit a major gas line and keep him. He steals nov paint and uses it, he works on the holy smokes cookouts and cow chairs while nov pays him to do nothing. Plus he scammed people over the cots and did all that when he was suppose to be working. That man needs to go. He's all over the plant in all the departments doing nothing other than driving people crazy. He has the nerve to brag about alcohol in a cooler while at work.
Sorry everyone, but layoffs should be happening this week either today or Friday. Might be around 50% of the facility staff, including brick building staff.
If you're not on fiolettsk.ru list I still advise to keep your options open and apply elsewhere. I honestly don't see this plant surviving during this economical downturn that experts believe might take two years to recover from (at least). The facilities physical computer inventory count has been taken as a precaution and they're only allowed to do mass layoffs once every 2 months (This is because of benefits payouts). So time is up...

Ok people, Yes in fact we do have issues with our management, everything here and I do mean everything is entirely to political. There is way too much back stabbing and thought cutting by managers and supervisors. In looking at these post I can see some people that are overly nervous about their positions within NOV. This has been and will continue to be a great company despite the current downturn, to those that get to ride it out congratulations, to the unfortunate ones that do not….well best wishes and good luck.
I believe that in one way or another everything that has been said here is true, if not why would anyone make these thing up? However this is not the place and or time to air dirty internal laundry. Do we need a management change? I think we do, the credibility is now destroyed and gone.
The facts are NOV is closing plants and reducing headcount worldwide, everyone can see this. It will be a wonderful thing if this plant survives, but what about the closed plants and all those products? If out management found a way to get along with each other, and if the shops bought into it well the sky is the limit and NOV could in fact give us more product !

Yeah right. If Jim likes you your parts flow is good, if he doesn’t like you your parts flow is slow. If he wants you fired your parts flow is gone. If its parts HE needs then there always on top of the dispatch. I have seen him do it to many times. Its obvious why we cant ship anything on time. Those production meting note prove everything.
You must have it all wrong, Jim Logan has single handedly met all of our customers needs! He has turned our manufacturing process completely around and our future couldn't be brighter with him at the helm. Helpful hint, don't mess with HIS dispatch!!!!!

My guess of the "Anonymous" source would have to be one of two people, Melissa Knutson (HSE Coordinator) who has stated her hatred for her boss and has always felt entitled to his position, HSE Manager. To bad she lack the proper skills and has a gossip fetish.
The other possibility is Margaret Hill and i believe her position is company gossip hen.
Sounds like someone is a bit disgruntled and probably fearing for their own job. If this person has so much knowledge of the situation why hasn't it been reported to HR? Instead you are starting rumors that could affected peoples jobs. Did you put your own position title in this message and the source of your "rumor", I'm certain you did not. You are probably just a COWARD who thinks they have some "dirt" on your boss and is looking for advancement yourself. I have a good idea of the identity of this "Anonymous" person and I'm sure you are pissed about the lack of attention your post got after the first layoff! Grow a pair and take it to the proper company resource if you know so much!!!
