Just received email today for a conference call in reference to CAO test for Walmart in our region. It is coming. I would think that by the end of the second quarter we will be warehouse in Walmart.

Late February announcement. April 21st exit Found this in an old thread, anybody knows if there is any truth to this? Or if this is just another one of blind guesses that'll turn out to be false, like majority have turned out to be so far. It'd be... read more
Just received a email that we're having a sales rally meeting in a few weeks. I'm very confused! Anyone think that they're going to tell us that Mondelez is exiting DSD?
Anybody wants to guess how many layoffs will be a part of the planned $3 billion annual savings? There are so many other ways to save, but they are long term, and we all know that Mondelez is more focused in right here right now than in investing in... read more
Reading a lot about getting rid of our warehouses and shipping to stores. I can confirm that at our plant we are transitioning to new unitizer equipment that puts the pallets on the units and then wraps them. Was told the entire organization is going... read more
i know big companies need to have complicated processes set up to oversee the entire operation, but what we have at mondelez has crossed all the lines... it's no wonder we are not hitting our growth targets considering our bureaucracy and politics... read more
We have all these rumors (and in some cases confirmed cases) of layoffs going around which means we are about to lose a bunch more people when we desperately actually need to hire more workers if the company thinks to have anything done. You can't... read more
First, I think there’s a lot of confusion on the term layoff; a layoff is a temporary displacement from work where the company intends to hire you back. This will not be a layoff - they will be terminating our employement, permanently aka fired. I... read more
I also feel like Nabisco will go through the same phase as Kelloggs. I work for Kellogg s almost a year and they announced their DSD exit last year around fall season.
Is it just me, or are workloads getting worse by the day? With no set hours we are done when all of our tasks are done and there is no chance to finish all of them in regular time. I used to be able to do everything within 40 hours and now I can't... read more

I work for the Naperville Triscuit plant and I have a few sources outside the Mondelēz network that has said Naperville will be closed. I know there are always those rumors flying around, have also heard Chicago bakery will get new lines, but... read more
Anybody else thinks that as soon as the new CEO starts, he will announce a round of layoffs? He is promising hefty savings for Mondelez immediately, and we all know what the easiest way to achieve that is. Hopefully I am wrong, but it would be... read more
How come that we cannot find any info about layoffs in Deerfield.
Townhall conference on Friday, I get the impression this will be the announcement about switching from DSD . Heard from a publix in Charleston they had a meeting about taking over Nabisco product early 2018.
I really hope that the rumors are not true and that we continue to operate as we currently are. I know that many competitors are changing the way how they are organized but I think that Mondelez is better organized and the fact that we do not have... read more
I'm hearing by April 2018 Mondelez will exiting dsd as well. Every reset they've been doing we've been losing space not gaining. Hopefully they'll give us some kind of severance like Kelloggs received...
I am really surprised that there are no posts about Nabisco DSD layoffs - I know that many folks have strong opinions about this... OK, I guess its 2017...
From what I've heard here in the Walmart home office things are not looking good for us long term. We will be going the way of Kellogg's sooner than I anticipated.
My walmart manager showed me that he can order all our products now. It's in their ordering system. Same as Keebler items are now. He scanned other vendors and their items aren't in his system at all to order. Seems like something is going to happen... read more
I was doing a order in one of my Walmart's and the manager said they will be going to warehouse delivery with our product just like Kelloggs soon. She said she can tell because the items are in system to order like Kelloggs is now. I've heard... read more
If you really want to know about layoffs just ask your boss - you'll get a 'no clue answer' and he'll black list you, at least here in Deerfield.
