Someone ran an LDAP script and came up with 16,892 US employee count. If there are only 50K HPE employees, this means that there are only 34% in the US. During Carly's time, she wanted a 60 US/40 WW mix. Then Hurd changed it to 40 US/60 WW. I heard... read more

Historically (at least for the last 5-6 years), the day after the MLK Holiday in the US has been a brutal WW layoff announcement day in HPE. Good luck, everyone! Hope things work well for all of you.
Looks like they are going to let go all contractors, so storage and other teams will be hit very hard. 3par will become a even bigger mess than it already is. This company is going downhill fast!!!

You can hate what Meg did but if she could have saved HPE/Q, she would have gone down as the greatest CEO in the known universe. Hating her for her inability to fix the massive damage before she came along isn't fair. It was too big to manage. Simply... read more

Wonder if the Atlanta, GA based Storage Unit is "safe" Meg's layoffs. It would be a shame if the lot who fled IBM to go to HPE's Storage Unit were suddenly made "redundant". Given that most of them have been around for a year or less, who do you... read more

Has anybody heard of a layoff next month? Heard some talk in the hallways today so was wondering if anyone else has heard anything in Palo Alto hallways
I do. I'm so sick and tired of all the pessimistic comments from people that haven't been with the Company for a long while. The comments seem to come over and over from the same bunch of old losers that were kicked out and can't get over it. Get a... read more
